The most effective routine for eczema
The single most important ingredient to treat eczema is the simplest and cheapest – water!
The problem with eczema and rosacea skin is the skins inability to retain moisture. Moisture can only be attained through water, NOT oils and butters (although oils and butters do serve as a useful, but different role in helping eczema).

The skin barrier with those who suffer from eczema are defective in their ability to retain moisture, on top of being exacerbated by scratching, inflammation, and harmful ingredients such as fragrance.
The best solution?
SOAK AND SEAL!
Soaking in a bath for 5-10 minutes, using an ultra-mild cleanser, then Sealing with an eczema cream is the perfect eczema routine.
Our best-selling Ziziphus Concentrated Cream and our new ultra mild 100% soap-free Vegan Solid Body Wash were developed to perfect the ‘Soak and Seal’ method.
Here’s a perfect breakdown inspired by the National Eczema Association.
Soak and Seal:
- Take a bath using lukewarm (not hot) water for five to 10 minutes. Use a gentle cleanser (no soaps) and avoid scrubbing the affected skin.

2. After bathing, pat the skin lightly with a towel leaving it slightly damp.

3. Apply Ziziphus Concentrated Cream IMMEDIATELY to the affected areas of skin. This should be within 3 minutes, or the skin may become drier.

Wait a few minutes to let the moisturizer absorb into the skin before dressing or applying wet wraps.
Wear lightweight clothes, preferably long sleeve! Choose clothes made of cotton or other breathable materials to keep your skin cool and dry. Any clothing that causes you to sweat will only make matters worse.
